Midlife changes are real. Your care should be personal.
Sleep, mood, cycles, energy, sexual health and metabolism can change in ways that affect everyday life. Vitalhaus gives you time to understand what is changing, what else may be contributing and which options fit your health history and goals.

You may recognize some of this.
- Cycles are becoming less predictable, closer together, farther apart or heavier.
- Hot flashes or night sweats interrupt work, sleep or daily life.
- Sleep has changed even when your routine has not.
- Mood, focus or stress tolerance feels different.
- Energy, strength, body composition or glucose patterns are shifting.
- Vaginal dryness, discomfort, urinary symptoms or sexual-health concerns are affecting wellbeing.
- You are unsure whether symptoms reflect perimenopause, another health issue or both.
Changes can overlap, and not every midlife symptom is caused by hormones. The first step is understanding the pattern in the context of your whole health.
Hormones do not work in isolation.
Your history guides the evaluation. Depending on your concerns, Christine may review:
- Cycle history, bleeding changes and reproductive history
- Hot flashes, night sweats and temperature changes
- Sleep quality, snoring, daytime fatigue and recovery
- Mood, cognition, stress load and nervous-system demands
- Sexual health, vaginal symptoms and urinary changes
- Thyroid, iron, glucose, cardiometabolic and bone-health considerations
- Medications, supplements, caffeine, alcohol and other exposures
- Nutrition, strength, movement, digestion and daily routines
- Personal and family history that may affect treatment choices
The goal is to separate what is expected, what deserves additional evaluation and what can be supported now.
From scattered changes to a clear plan.
Before the visit
Complete your intake and securely send relevant records and prior results for review.
During the visit
We map your symptoms, cycle changes, health history, medications, daily patterns and goals. We also identify concerns that may need gynecology, primary care or another specialist.
After the visit
You receive a written Roadmap with priorities and next steps. The plan may include lifestyle strategies, appropriate evaluation, medication discussion, symptom-focused treatment, testing or care coordination.
More than one path can be appropriate.
Midlife care may include nutrition, sleep support, strength and movement, stress regulation, sexual-health support, nonhormonal treatment or hormone therapy when appropriate.
Hormone therapy can help certain menopause symptoms, but the benefits, risks, formulation and timing should be considered with your symptoms, medical history and preferences. FDA-approved options are not automatically interchangeable with compounded products, and “bioidentical” does not by itself mean safer or more effective.
Vitalhaus can help you understand the options and coordinate with gynecology or another clinician when that is the best next step.
Test when the answer can guide care.
Existing records and prior labs are reviewed first when relevant. A single hormone value may be difficult to interpret during perimenopause because levels can fluctuate, so testing should be chosen for a specific reason rather than used as a routine package.
Testing may still be useful when the history suggests another contributor, when a result could change treatment or when a specific diagnosis or safety question needs to be addressed.
Explore supplements + labsSome changes need prompt conventional evaluation.
Very heavy bleeding, bleeding after menopause, a new breast concern, severe pelvic pain or another significant new symptom should not be assumed to be “just hormones.” Vitalhaus may recommend timely evaluation with gynecology, primary care, breast imaging or another appropriate service.
Vitalhaus complements routine primary, gynecologic and preventive care. It is not an emergency service.
