METABOLIC HEALTH

Build metabolic health that fits real life.

Metabolic health is more than a number on the scale. Vitalhaus helps you understand patterns in glucose, energy, strength, sleep, nutrition and cardiovascular risk, then build a plan you can actually use.

Start with what has been changing.

  • Glucose, insulin or A1C results are moving in the wrong direction.
  • Weight or body composition has changed despite real effort.
  • Energy crashes, cravings or irregular eating patterns make the day harder.
  • Blood pressure, cholesterol or triglycerides need attention.
  • Strength, sleep or recovery has declined.
  • Perimenopause or menopause has changed how your body responds.
  • Family history makes prevention feel more urgent.
  • You want to understand whether medication belongs in your plan.

There is no moral value attached to a lab result, body size or medication need. The goal is to understand risk, improve health and choose realistic next steps.

Metabolism reflects more than food and willpower.

Your history guides the evaluation. Depending on your concerns, Christine may review:

  • Glucose patterns, A1C, insulin context and diabetes risk
  • Blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and family history
  • Weight history, body-composition changes and prior approaches
  • Sleep quality, possible sleep apnea symptoms and recovery
  • Nutrition patterns, food access, appetite, cravings and digestive symptoms
  • Strength, movement, pain and physical limitations
  • Hormonal changes, thyroid questions and relevant medications
  • Stress, mood, schedule and the demands of daily life
  • Existing diagnoses, complications and care from other clinicians

The goal is not to chase every possible marker. It is to identify the information most likely to change your plan.

Turn data and daily life into clear priorities.

Before the visit

Complete your intake and securely send relevant records, home readings and prior results for review.

During the visit

We connect your history, current markers, medications, sleep, nutrition, activity, symptoms and goals. We also identify concerns that need primary care, endocrinology, cardiology or another specialist.

After the visit

You receive a written Roadmap with priorities and next steps. The plan may include nutrition strategies, strength and movement, sleep support, appropriate testing, medication discussion or care coordination.

See how it works

Small, coordinated changes can be more useful than an extreme reset.

Nourishment

Build meals and routines around your health needs, preferences, culture, schedule and access to food. Avoid one-size-fits-all restriction.

Strength + movement

Support muscle, mobility, glucose regulation, cardiovascular health and independence with a plan that meets you where you are.

Sleep + recovery

Address sleep quantity, quality and possible breathing-related symptoms because recovery affects appetite, energy and cardiometabolic health.

Follow-through

Use repeat measurements, focused check-ins and plan adjustments to learn what is working over time.

The right plan may include medication. It may not.

Medication decisions should consider your diagnosis, risks, goals, prior treatment, side effects, contraindications, cost and ability to continue safely. When appropriate, options may include medications for glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol or weight management as part of a broader clinical plan.

Using medication is not a failure, and medication should not replace nutrition, strength, sleep or needed medical follow-up. Vitalhaus can help you understand options and coordinate prescribing or specialty care when appropriate.

Measure what can guide the next decision.

Existing records and prior results are reviewed first when relevant. Additional testing may be considered when it can clarify risk, evaluate another contributor, establish a baseline or change treatment.

Testing is individualized. Specialty panels and supplements are not automatic requirements for metabolic care.

Metabolic care works best as coordinated care.

Vitalhaus complements primary and specialty care. Patients with diabetes, significant cardiovascular risk, kidney or liver disease, pregnancy, an eating disorder or another complex condition may need ongoing care from the appropriate clinician or team.

Vitalhaus is not an emergency service. Chest pain, severe trouble breathing, fainting, new weakness or difficulty speaking, or another medical emergency requires immediate emergency care.

Build a plan around your health, not a generic program.

Your first visit is a place to understand the pattern, clarify priorities and choose the next steps that fit your life.
